The case against "edit this later"
Open most template-based builders and you're greeted by "Lorem ipsum" and a headline that says "Your headline here." The layout looks finished; the site isn't. Every one of those placeholders is a small chore you've been handed, and most of them never get done.
Content first, then layout
We flipped the order. Setup asks what you do, who it's for and what you offer, and the first draft is written from those answers. The layout is chosen to fit the content, not the other way round. A one-service business doesn't get a six-card grid with five empty cards.
What this changes
The first thing you edit is a real sentence about your business, not a placeholder. That turns editing from a to-do list into a proofread. It's a small design decision that decides whether a site ever actually launches.
