Choosing a template when nothing feels right

Template galleries invite a specific kind of paralysis: none of them is exactly you, so you keep browsing. The fix is to stop looking for a match and look for a distance.
Pick the closest structure, not the closest style
Colors, fonts and photos take minutes to change. Structure takes longer. If you run a restaurant, start from the template that leads with hours, menu and reservations — even if the colors are wrong — rather than a beautiful portfolio grid you'll have to rebuild.

If nothing is within reach, describe what you're building and let the AI draft a starting point of its own. It won't be perfect either; it will be closer, and closer is the whole point of a starting point.
